Here's our little story
It all started the way it usually starts: three engineers, a startup idea, quit their jobs with no real savings.
Except in this case, its about - no fancy AI, no cutting-edge software, no deep-tech stuff, just good old passion for turning houses into homes.
March 2023 - Mayank and Shail, friends from their IIT Kharagpur days, decided to deck up a house to build some passive income. They leased a lackluster 2 BHK in Bellandur, one of Bangalore’s hotspots. After two intense days of furniture hunting, countless cups of coffee, and several 'wow, this looks awesome' moments, it was ready to go-live. And it was a big hit, rented out in just 24 hours!
After repeating this success with a couple more transformations, they realized it wasn’t a fluke. This wasn't just about decking up houses; it was about reinventing the rental experience. The traditional approach to renting is broken. We’ve all been there - tiring house visits, cringe brokers, hidden charges, hefty deposits, lock-in periods, and the hassle of setting up an entire house from scratch. It’s too old school.
